Bangalore is also well abound in places of excursions. There is a beautiful hill called Nandi Hill at a distance of about sixty kilometers from Bangalore. Nandi Hill is popularly known for it’s being health care resort. The lakes and the valleys viewed from this hill resort are awesome.

It is tourist’s delight to visit this resort during summers.

Moving for about 28 km from the city is the big Banyan tree. It is also the major amazing factor to the visitors. This big Banyan at Romahalli is spreading over and area of three acres to surprise. There are lot many more places for excursions in Bangalore.

The means of transportation in Bangalore is excellent in its facilities. The city has an international and a domestic airport at a little distance of 13 km from the central part. Cities like Mumbai, Calcutta, Kochi, Panaji, Thiruvananthapuram, Chennai, Hyderabad and Delhi are some of the regular air operations in local India while Singapore, Muscat and Sharjah share direct port from Bangalore.

There is a meter gauge railway tract running in this city.

It is also the major railway station of the southern India facilitating regular transportation of people from every corners of the country. Buses, taxis and rickshaws are good alternatives for local and neighboring cities transportation.

DAY 02: Bangalore to Mysore
Leave Banglore in the morning for Mysore enroute visit Channapatna Toys Centre, Srirangapatna, Ranganathaswamy Temple, Tippu’s Palace, Fort, Gumbaz, Tippu’s Summer Palace. Reach Mysore and settle down in hotel. Visit Illuminated Brindavan Gardens and Krishnarajasagar Dam in the Evening. Night hault in Mysore.
