Panaiji is easy to reach and people come here by air, rail, road. All private airlines and public airlines operate their services from major airports of India. Jet Airways, Sahara Airlines offer services from Mumbai (Maharashtra) and Bangalore.
Panaiji is also connected with the Indira Gandhi airport of Delhi other airports like Chennai, Mangalore, Trivandrum and Cochin. Travelers can also reach Panaiji by trains which run from Delhi, Pune, Secunderabad and Jaipur. Margao is the nearest station of Panaiji. Three states transport buses operates to Panaiji’s Kadamba bus station.

St Sebastian Chap el - at the end of a small square, this chapel stands lofty and unblemished. It houses religious relics including the image of Our Lady of Livramento, the Confraria and the Crucifix of the Inquisition.

State Archaeological Museum – this huge building houses a collection of colonial artifacts, temple relics, prehistoric rock carvings and elegant Jain bronzes.
Miramar - 3 km west along the Mandovi River, this beach attracts thousands of tourists.
Bambolim – this minor beach is 7 km from Panaji.
Dona Paula - 9 km southwest of Panaji, this beach is enveloped with palms and casuarinas. It offers water sports facilities, especially water scootering.
