;City of Destiny” Vishakhapatnam (Pronounced as Visakhapaanamu) is a Port city of India. It is situated in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Vishakhapatnam is located in the Eastern Coastline, nested among the Eastern Ghats, facing Bay of Bengal. The city has a defunct Colonial name of Waltair. Popularly, Vishakhapatnam is also known as “Vizag” in short. Vizag has the only harbor in the eastern coastline which is a natural harbor. This city is the oldest shipping yard of the Country.
