You can make a trip to Hyderabad Film City. It is one of the most well-built and professionally managed film institutes in the world. You will need an hour’s drive to reach Film City located here. The film city is built on an area of over 1000 acres.  Another place worth a visit is the Osman Sagar. It is also known as Gandipet and is around 20 kms from the main city. You can come here for picnic when the weather is pleasant. 'Gandipet', it is an excellent picnic spot with well-laid gardens.
