Munnar

Munnar is a small town in south Kerala. It is a very famous tea plantation destination. It is located where three mountain streams meet - Muthirappuzha, Chanduvarai and Kundala. Around Munnar are wet and wild jungles, and it is cold and wet for almost the whole of year. Munnar has a significant population of Tamils. Tea plantation came to  Munnar in the times of the British. Then most of the people who worked here were laborers. That time a few bungalows were also built here for the British managers. Many of those Bungalows can still be seen here.
