Often referred to as one of the most scenic hill stations in India, Kodaikanal is a tourist’s paradise. One of the major attractions here is the Kodai Lake. Spread over an area of more that 60 acres, the lake is in the shape of a star. Adding to the beauty of it is the boat club and the water sports club. People in search of pease can spend days fishing by the placid waters of the lake.

The city is also a heaven for orchid hunters. The town has a museum which preserves over 300 varieties of rare orchids. Coaker’s walk provides the tourist spectacular views of the rolling plains.
